Another cold day, my friends. And tomorrow will be snow. A little here. A little there. That's okay.
My exercises are doing well at the gym. I was fortunate to come back from this stroke other than a few problems. But I'm getting stronger in my legs. My arms, too. Although I do have the penmanship skills of a 3rd grader. No gym tomorrow -- Sunday is an off day. And Wednesday will be an off day. Then I'll just walk around where we live.
Anyway, I finished the 3 shelves. Because open shelves are tough to keep things on, I'm going to add a backing to them. I hate removing shelves from a room to pick something up that fell!
Then I went to to the post office section. I was able to punch out the one side of the mail slots but the intersecting parts fell apart. The directions said this might happen and to glue them together. I just didn't have the patience for that tonight.
Here is the blank building for the 2013 challenge. What would you do with this building? I would like to try it but with my health setback these 2 months, and other projects, I don't think I'd do it justice this year. Maybe next year.
Want to give it a shot? It's reasonably priced. It's at HGS.miniatures.com. And no, I don't get anything for this free advertising!
Tomorrow's another day.
Until then...
Pat
Those shelving units look great! Sounds like you are getting better everyday and you have a great attitude about it. Glad to see things are going well.

Hi Pat,
ReplyDeleteJust checking in and glad to find you doing well. Your shelves look great, nice and straight! It will be interesting to see what people come up with for the challenge's blank building, it's a pretty cool shape to start with isn't it. I'm not sure what I would do with it to be honest? All I see when I look at it, is a train station platform booth!
