Sunday activities and stuff

It was cold today but not as bad as yesterday.  Thank heavens the snow is melting from Snowstorm Nemo.  Now Storm Orca is on its way.  Don't know our fate yet.  Good grief.  But I can't help feeling pain and sorrow for those who still can't get into their houses from Sandy.  This snow didn't help them at all.

Went to Kate's 9th birthday party today.  Lots of big people, kids and dogs.  Kate requested Mexican food so we had quesadillas, empanadas, and more.  Then the ice cream cake came out.  All enjoyed it.  Kate went and got her chopsticks and ate her cake with them.  As expected, everyone cracked up.

We bought her a sewing kit with a dress form and fabrics and trims.  I'm going to teach her how to drape a dress on a doll mannequin.  That should be fun.

So when we came home I went on Pinterest to see what I could find for you to view.  I don't know about all of you but I love tutorials. And all types of pix of minis.  Here's some for you.
